August Briggs Winery is an employee-owned winery in Napa Valley dedicated to producing very limited quantities of great wines from carefully selected vineyards across Napa and Sonoma counties. Founder Joe Briggs brings a quarter-century of winemaking knowledge in working with quality grape growers to produce our signature style of balanced wines with intense fruit character.
The August Briggs Family invites you to their comfortable and sophisticated tasting room in downtown Calistoga. We are a craft producer of small lot wines showcasing Napa and Sonoma’s “rock star” vineyards. Our eclectic portfolio includes single vineyard and appellation bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Pinot Meunier, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Charbono – each one an expression of restrained winemaking and site signature. In select vintages we also produce “Wishes”, a cellar selection of our finest red barrels. Our wines are available in select markets and at our new tasting room in historic Calistoga.
